How to find an inexpensive good, nice apartment in Budapest? I started to help tourists in 1998 in the capital of Hungary.

It was not very easy earlier (80′, 90′). Nowdays, you only have to browse some quality websites and, read some reviews and click on the book a room button to get great rates/services, city center location etc.

The price starts from ~14 euro/person/night (lowest) in the real city center (off season, winter time). It is cca. 20 euro in high season, top periods. Of course you can stay with couchsurfers free of charge too, but it is not a private, elegant holiday for adults. A breakfast costs 3-30 euro (from a good sandwich to 5 star hotel luxurious buffet breakfast) in the central areas.

Budapest is very popular for short city breaks, weekend parties or for sightseeings for families too.

That is we really need when we explore the big city. Public transportation is also very good in this area. This are big guestrooms, not real apartments. Bathrooms, showers are relatively small.

The beds might be uncomfortable, but inexpensive means softer or too soft sometimes.

4) Center of the downtown: Club Apartments: rates, full reviews HERE. Very cozy, have everything for long stay. They are full all year round, you need to reserve in advance. Kitchen, computer with internet, staff is nice, kind, good. Washing machine, air-conditioning, program, pick-up and transfer services etc.

The above mentioned lodgings, accommodation services might be full. Make a priority list for you, and search in advance when you have your airplane tickets. ? 1 Location, 2 beds, 3 prices, 3 services, 4 Staff…

How much should I pay for 2-4-6-8 persons apartments for rent in the downtown area?

Extremely cheap, dormitory, accommodation services are available from 7 euro/person/night with taxes online, hostel, “munkásszálló” in Hungarian ( 5 euró/night) – a kind of “boarding house“.
